Forward Update - 11/28/25
Rennovation Prayer Requests
This afternoon we had our bi-weekly "Construction Update" with Aspen to go over progress, talk about next steps, etc.
As we were reviewing the details, our Building Team had the idea of ending each of these meetings with a list of specific prayer requests to be shared with others. Also know that Aspen is committed to praying with us!
Here are the specific prayer requests for this week:
1. Pray for the safety of everyone coming to 1310 to work on this project. Also pray that they might come to know and love God through their experiences and interactions with us.
2. One of, if not THE, largest and longest parts of this project is the electrical work to be done in the new Chapel and the Sanctuary. Pray that the team from Excel Electric will be able to work faster than anticipated. That God will remove obstacles. That problems will not arise. We need their work to be done as quickly and as accurately as possible!
3. Still under investigation is a potential problem with our fire suppression system (sprinklers) in the new Chapel. We'll know more in the coming weeks, but the issue could range from a faulty test gauge (essentially a non-issue) to much bigger things. Pray that God will make this a non-issue.
4. We will have to attend a City Council meeting in December to ensure our zoning permit for the exterior front entrance work is approved. In preparation for that, we are required to send letters to our neighbors in Brighton Ridge and we'll have a sign posted on 75th. Thanks to Bill Perry for his knowledge and experience guiding us through this. We have no reason to believe there will be an issue, but please pray that God will make it so.
Thank you for joining us in prayer!
