Good Shepherd Family,
We hope you are already praying about participating in Good Shepherd’s Theology and Formation Cohorts this year!
When you are part of Cohorts, you are part of something that will change your heart and faith. During the Cohorts year, you will learn about God, experience spiritual growth, and rediscover your passion for being a follower of Jesus! Cohorts is a unique opportunity where together we go on a journey of learning, discussion, personal study, and spiritual formation.
If you are longing to deepen your faith and encounter God in fresh ways, Cohorts provides a space for that type of desire to grow and be met. You will learn from experts in biblical studies, theology, church history, and what it means to serve and live out our faith in Jesus. Not only will you learn about biblical and theological topics, you'll also work to apply what you are learning to your life, relationships, and the spaces God has you in. You will make new friends, walk alongside others in faith, and feel more connected to the community of Good Shepherd.
Have you talked to someone who has gone through Cohorts yet? They would tell you… this yearlong Cohorts commitment will be worth it in every way!
Last year, one participant joined Cohorts because she wanted to grow deeper in her faith but wasn't sure what that would actually look like. Throughout the year, she found that Cohorts became much more than a place to learn theology—it became a place where Scripture came alive, meaningful friendships were formed, and God met her in new ways. As she wrestled with questions, practiced spiritual disciplines, and walked alongside others, she discovered a renewed confidence in God's presence and a clearer sense of how He was calling her to live out her faith each day. By the end of the year, she didn't just know more about God—she knew Him more deeply and had discerned a new path forward for her life.
We saw our participants grow in their understanding of God, walk more closely with Jesus, and discern where the Holy Spirit is leading them next in their faith journey. Cohorts is intentional, purposeful, and meaning. It will give you the chance to lean into what God is doing in your life.
We are praying for you as you discern if this is the right next step in your relationship with Jesus! Registration is open for the 2026-2027 Cohorts year. We are excited for what God is doing in your life and for you to be part of our Theology and Formation Cohorts this coming year.
