INTRODUCING
Good Shepherd's Theology Cohorts
At Good Shepherd, part of our mission is to “walk together” — and our new Theology Cohorts are a new opportunity to do just that. We're so excited for you to join us!
This cohort-based program is designed to deepen your theological understanding and draw you closer to God through teaching, personal study, attunement to the Holy Spirit, and meaningful communal conversations.
Participants will gain a renewed sense of awe for God’s redemptive narrative — recognizing that the Bible is holy because it testifies of a holy God and understanding how their own lives are woven into that story.
Thursday nights from 6:30 – 8:30pm
Beginning September 18

Frequently Asked Questions
Who are Good Shepherd's Theology Cohorts for?
Anyone looking to understand and apply God’s word to their daily life and anyone looking for refuge in today’s unrelenting culture. Come and see what God might want to do with and through you at these cohorts!
What can we expect from the teaching?
Three sessions of 8-week study, delivered through a hybrid format of in-person, Zoom, and small group discussions. This approach combines lecture-based and conversational teaching to provide foundational theological insights and guide participants through key concepts of faith and Scripture.
What is required for personal study?
Assigned readings and reflective exercises designed to expand on and deepen the material taught during lectures. These activities encourage participants to engage thoughtfully with the content, enhancing their understanding and allowing them to integrate and apply the teachings in their daily lives.
What does “attuning to the Holy Spirit” mean?
Opportunities for spiritual attunement through contemplative practices that are teacher-led and individual. These experiences encourage a deeper awareness of God’s presence, fostering spiritual growth and guiding participants to discern God's leading in their lives.
Can I invite my friends to sign up for the Cohorts, too?
YES! Your friends, neighbors, and coworkers should be invited to this! Theology Cohorts are also a great opportunity for any life group that is looking to dive deeper together. You can expect regular and intentional group discussions that encourage shared learning and reflection, creating a space for participants to connect, challenge, and grow together in their faith journeys.
If I have a conflict on one of the dates, can I still sign up?
Each of these weeks will build off of each other, but we understand that life might get in the way. If you are going to miss more than two weeks in any of the three sessions, please reach out to our team to discuss the right plan for you.
