Naperville Last Fling

Worship with us at Last Fling!

On Sunday August 31st at 9:30am we are going to be worshipping at Naperville's Last Fling! The Last Fling is an annual summer festival hosted by Naperville Jaycee's that is fun for the whole family, and benefits some of our mission partners!

Coming Together in Worship & Celebration

This time of year offers us a chance to restart, reflect, and lean into the community that God is building here at Good Shepherd. Whether you're new or celebrate the blessings in our lives and the gift of Christ’s love. We welcome you to be part of these meaningful moments with our church family.
Thursday Evenings - Starting Sept. 18th

Theology Cohorts

The cohort-based program will deepen theological understanding and foster intimacy with God through teaching, personal study, attuning to the Spirit, and communal discussion. Participants will gain a holy awe of God’s redemptive narrative and that the Bible really is holy because it testifies of a holy God and understands how they are actually a part of it. Participants will engage learning opportunities for biblical foundations, key theological topics, church history, and practical theology -- while emphasizing spiritual formation and growth throughout the program.

Cohorts will meet weekly on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm in three 8-week sessions from September 2025 - May 2026.
  • Session 1: Biblical Foundations (September 18 - November 13)
  • Session 2: Church History and Key Theological Concepts (January 8 - February 26)
  • Session 3: Practical Theology (April 9 - May 28)

Monday Evenings - Starting Sept. 8th

Community Nights

Join us for community, devotion, and worship before heading to one of our many groups offered on Monday Nights from 6:30 - 8:30pm. Come early as our Café will be open at 5:30.

Fall Student Ministry Kickoff

Our Student Ministry starts off each year with a celebration from 4pm-6pm open to any 6th-12th grader in our community. We'd love to see you!

We offer disability ministry support at all of our services and well as any student ministry program or event. We are committed to helping every adult and child feel like they belong at Good Shepherd.

Tuesday Mornings starting September 8th

Women's Bible Study

This Fall, we will meet starting September 9th through November 11th on Tuesdays from 9:30 - 11:30. We will study the book Threaded by Tara Beth Leach.

This Bible study explores the sacred threads of the Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, and Davidic Covenants, helping you see God’s redemptive hand in your life. No matter where you are in the story, there’s a place for you in His plans for restoration and renewal.

This session will include live teaching, weekly homework, and group discussion.
Childcare is provided; please indicate ages on registration. The cost of the study is $25.
