Celebrate the Christmas Season at Good Shepherd

Inspired by "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving", we’re keeping things simple and fun with a Thanksgiving gathering filled with food, fellowship, and inclusive worship for the whole family! For dinner, we’ll provide the meat, and everyone is invited to bring an easy item to share. A $5 family donation will be collected at registration.

Whether you’re part of the Fusion community, a family member, a friend, or a volunteer, there’s a place for you at our table. Guests are always welcome. Each family should register separately.

Good Shepherd is proud to host The Caroling Party this Christmas season! This group of about 60 singers travels in quartets and octets throughout December, performing roughly 140 shows across Naperville and the surrounding communities. They’ll kick off their season with us at a free friends and family concert, followed by a reception.

At Buddy Break, kids of all types of abilities and needs (VIP kids)—and their siblings—get to have FUN with a buddy while parents/guardians take a break! Kids will spend time making friends, playing games, doing crafts, hearing stories, listening to music, and more.

This program is for VIP kids ages 2–16, and their siblings ages 2–11. Some exceptions may be approved! Contact Disability Minister Chris Rechsteiner for details and registration.

It’s a joy and privilege to connect our Good Shepherd family with opportunities to care for others. We intentionally partner with four mission organizations, contributing gifts and practical supplies thoughtfully provided by our community.

• We help children around the world through Operation Christmas Child packing shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. (Deadline: November 15)
• We partner with Bridge Communities to ensure families receive essential household supplies. (Deadline: November 24)
• We serve senior residents at the DuPage Care Center, helping to fulfill their holiday wishes through thoughtful, practical, and personal gifts. (Deadline: December 6)
• Alongside Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, we serve children in foster care throughout our neighborhood, ensuring they receive gifts chosen especially for them. (Deadline: December 13)

Nothing happens around here without the tireless efforts of those who serve. We will soon have several opportunities to get involved in creating an environment that warmly welcomes thousands of people into our church during the Christmas season.
