Karen Lindflott

I am honored to be a part of the Missions team at Good Shepherd.  I am inspired by all of the amazing ways that the Good Shepherd community serves both our local community and missions abroad.  I have worked with and volunteered for several of our local mission partners. I look forward to supporting the great work that these organizations do while providing the opportunity for community-building that these serving events provide to our Good Shepherd family.

Over the years, I have worn many hats in my professional and volunteer life.  Some of my favorite roles and “mountain top” experiences involved the youth mission trips I’ve chaperoned and/or organized to Appalachia, Alaska, and abroad to Haiti and the Dominican Republic.  I can’t wait to share my love for this work with you and the inevitable expansion of heart that you feel and witness along the way.

Currently, I live in Lisle with my husband, Ron.  We have three children, Anna, Ben and Sarah, who are in various stages of launching into adulthood.  My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving and its precursor, tortellini-making Saturday, with all of my cousins!  As a family, we love to explore our country’s beautiful National Parks, but on a sunny Saturday, you can find me, and any willing volunteer, kayaking down our own DuPage River.
Come join me! I welcome the opportunity to get to know you!
