Good Shepherd has been my family's church home since 2005. With my wife, Jenn (also on staff), and I both having grown up in downstate Illinois (Peoria and Beardstown), finding a church community was important to us when we moved to Naperville.

After graduating from the University of Illinois, I had a wonderful career in Management and IT consulting with both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Accenture. It is now clear to me that God used those 20 years to prepare me for an even greater purpose - my role here at Good Shepherd. In the summer of 2017, I became our church's Executive Director of Operations. As a leader of this church, my role is to help support all of the amazing ministry that happens at 1310 Shepherd Drive. My day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing Finance, HR, Communications, the Facility, and even the Cornerstone Cafe. We have a wonderful team, and it brings me great joy to serve alongside them!

Jenn and I thoroughly enjoy raising our (ahem) young adult kids, Megan and Bradley. Megan is currently wrapping up her undergrad work as she begins working toward an MDiv at Calvin Theological Seminary. When she's not studying, you can find her regularly serving in children’s and student ministries as she pursues her calling to become a youth pastor. Bradley is studying Fisheries and Wildlife at UW-Stevens Point, where it’s nearly impossible to find him without his friends or a fishing rod in his hands.

In my downtime (when I'm not studying for my own pursuit of an MDiv at CTS), I enjoy the outdoors, typically being outfished by my son.
