Allie Reader
Hey Good Shepherd! My name is Allie Reader and I'm the Early Childhood Leader, which means I get to spend lots of time with all of the kids in our Nursery and Preschool environments and their families. I am so excited to get started here in my first full-time Kids Ministry position.
I live in Shorewood and graduated from Minooka High School in 2020. After high school, I started attending Mission Bible Church, and did an Elementary School Ministry internship for a year and a half, before I started a position as the Children's Ministry Director at Mission's Morris Campus. After doing that part-time for a year, I decided I was ready to dive into Kids Ministry full-time. This has been my goal, since I started my Elementary Ministry internship, so I feel super blessed to have this opportunity.
If I'm not here at Good Shepherd, you can probably find me at a Dunkin in the area (or really any coffee shop) drinking an iced coffee, playing my Ukulele, or reading on my most prized possession, my Kindle.
