Gifts of Impact

This season, you can bring hope, joy, and the love of Christ to our most vulnerable neighbors — near and far. Every gift — big or small — has the power to change a life. From children and seniors to families in need, your generosity reflects the very heart of God: overflowing with compassion, grace, and hope.

God is already at work — across the world and right here in our own neighborhoods —
and He invites us to join Him. Together, we can share His love in tangible ways that
make a real difference in people's everyday lives. Here are just a few of the ways we can make a difference:

  • Children across the globe who will receive a shoebox through Operation
Christmas Child, opening not only a gift, but also the story of God’s greatest gift — His Son, Jesus.
  • Local families through Bridge Communities, who will experience the dignity and
love of Christ through everyday essentials like laundry detergent, paper towels,
and toothpaste — small gifts that make a big difference.
  • Elderly residents at the DuPage Care Center, whose holiday wish lists remind us
that even the simplest gifts can speak volumes of God’s care and presence. Look for one of our team members in the Narthex on Sunday mornings starting November 9th or see the list here.
  • Children in foster care, who will know they are deeply loved and valued as we
help fill their Christmas with warmth, joy, and belonging. See the list here.
  • Students and families at Cherish Watoto in Kenya, who will receive food bags to
sustain them during the school break — a life-giving expression of hope for those
living on just a few dollars a day.

Every opportunity is a chance to say: “You are seen. You are loved. You are not forgotten.”

When we give, we become part of something far greater than ourselves — a movement
of God’s love that transcends distance, circumstance, and need. This is what it means to
be the body of Christ: to see the world’s pain and respond with His compassion.
Let’s make this a season that changes lives — both theirs and ours.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your
Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

Together, may we shine the light of Christ so brightly that others can’t help but see His
love through us.
